Just a few kilometers separate the city of Milan from Monza. The name of this small town in Southern Brianza, traversed by the River Lambro, has, for centuries been linked to the majestic Villa Reale built here as royal residence for Maria Teresa, Empress of Austria.
Right next to the villa, lies the Park of Monza which, with its 750 hectares of fenced land, is one of the largest parks in the world. Within the grounds of the Park, there is the world-famous Motordrome, complete with Formula 1 racetrack on which the Monza Grand Prix is contested.
